In November of 2023 was released this new information site. It consists of an open space to everybody who is interested in genetics so that they can publish informative texts.

On the 15th January of 2023 had place the officialization of the new directive. All the position of this new board were elected during general assembly of our society call in November 2022, except for the president in position, which was chosen by a direct nomination by the former president Dr. Evaristo Venegas to our new president MSc. Esdenka Pérez Cascales.
During the workshop two training seminars where given: one with the proteomics as the main topic spoken by the Dr. Jenny Telleria and another one about metagenomics spoken by MSc. Jaime Pablo Iturre.
The Bolivian Society of Genetics, fulfilling its mission of bringing medical doctors, researchers and health professionals, both international and national, committed to the area of Genetics, and to promote the integration of multidisciplinary scientific activities and the exchange of knowledge; after a decade, and in collaboration with the Diagnostic and Research Laboratory BIOSCIENCE SRL and the Institut de Recherche pour le Développement (IRD), once again took the initiative to organize the second Human Genetics Workshop: “Research, Development and Application”, which was held, under a blended format, in the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, on October 28 and 29, 2022 at the facilities of Hotel G in the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra.

Our review: History of the Chagas disease, from prehistory to the present day, is a document that allows us to build the history of the disease through the state of health of the ancestral populations who inhabited Bolivia.
The event was organized by the Institute of Anthropological Research and Archaeological Museum of the Universidad Mayor de San Simón (INIAM-UMSS), and the Institut de Recherche pour le Développement (IRD), within the framework of the activities of the Bolivian Society of Genetics (SOBOGEN).
On August 3, 2018, at the Institute of Anthropological Research and Museum of the Universidad Mayor de San Simón in Cochabamba. The new board of directors was inaugurated, elected by a vote of the members of the Society.
