On May 25, 2012, at the Institute of Genetics (Faculty of Medicine, 9th floor), the foundation of the Bolivian Human Genetics Society was held, where national and international researchers participated, and an Ad Hoc committee was also formed, whose sole function was to establish the first board of directors of SOBOGEN.
