Mission
The Bolivian Society of Genetics brings together professionals and researchers in Biological and Biomedical Sciences of our country, committed to developing research in the area of Human Genetics, in order to develop, promote and coordinate multidisciplinary scientific activities, and exchange of knowledge with an ethic concern, for the benefit of the Bolivian population.
Scope
To be a scientific society of national reference of excellence in the field of Human Genetics that houses professionals who develop their research in this area.
Goals
– To promote integration between researchers in the area of Genetics in Bolivia.
– To settle strategic alliances at an international level with groups of scientists established in the area of Genetics.
– To promote socially in the scientific community and the general population the impact that scientific advances in Genetics have on health.
– To create a Genetics database on research carried out in the Bolivian population.
– To circulate information regarding the work carried out in Bolivia at a national and international level, in the field of Genetics.
– To promote the holding of national and international scientific events on Genetics.
– To promote the training and specialization of young national professionals interested in the area.
